Brighter Futures
Brighter Futures is an innovative community-led employment service that will enable our clients to take crucial steps, with the right support, towards holistic social inclusion. As a result, clients will have improved health and wellbeing, financial and personal resilience, skills and future prospects. Most will move into work, education and active job search. Brighter Futures is needed to activate and harness the skills and potential of residents across the city and county. Brighter Futures is in line with local strategic priorities, focussing on the needs of vulnerable individuals in the 20% most deprived neighbourhoods who have not benefited from improving labour market conditions.
Brighter Futures will be adding additional services and the missing stepping stones and leading to mainstream skills and employment support; the missing supplementary support to help people with multiple, profound and complex needs to succeed; and as the missing alternative for people who are ineligible for mainstream provision. Brighter Futures’ Community Coaches will have the time to spend with each client who experience significant and complex challenges.
